Early 18th Century Memento Mori Ring
A death's head appears squashed to fit on the 22k band. (In the biz, we call these "pumpkin head rings".) In the 17th and 18th centuries these very rare skull jewels were used as reminders that death comes for us all. Rarer still: there is no inscription inside.
