These 1 1/2" lengths of brass-based rhinestone chains were manufactured recently, but we didn't like how bright and new they looked. We oxidized the brass, hoping they'd come out looking vintage, and it worked really well! The dark finish spreads to the foil backs of the rhinestones, mellowing them out with a smoky dull patina. The glass facets still catch the light and sparkle, but in a wonderful faded-glamour kind of way. We were thinking about naming these earrings after the movie "To Catch A Thief", but maybe we should name them after "Sunset Boulevard" or "Grey Gardens" instead?

Posts are surgical steel and earring backs are 14K gold-plated brass. Earrings come attached to cardstock printed with an "Erica Weiner Jewelry" logo.
