Five 1 1/2" lengths of flat chain are soldered to a little 1/2" vertical bar so that they dangle and shimmy-shake with your every movement. They're flapper-ish, but slightly industrial-looking too (solder and chain cuts are visible upon close inspection). These irregularities should be considered a part of your earrings' unique character.

Since these earrings are vintage, we can't be sure exactly what type of metal the posts are, but my guess is that they're stainless or surgical steel. Each pair has been cleaned, oxidized, and given new 14K gold-plated backs. Earrings come attached to cardstock packaging bearing an "Erica Weiner Jewelry" logo.
