A friend in Israel sent us a bunch of smashed pennies, all of which feature a list of the Ten Commandments in Hebrew. Left in raw copper, each penny has a hole drilled at the top and dangles from a matching 20" copper link chain with a brass spring ring closure. We don't necessarily intend this necklace to be worn as a religious medallion. We dig the way it looks and think the universal message is lovely. It can't hurt to remember to be a good person, can it?
