A teeny-tiny 1 1/4" glass vial hangs on an antique 18" brass chain, one end of which is wrapped around the top part of the vial. The other chain end terminates in a cork, which, when inserted into the vial, acts as the necklace closure. There is no additional hardware. Our advice is to hold the cork itself when extracting, NOT the chain, which won't withstand repeated pulling pressure. Vial is sturdy pyrex but may break if abused, so wear carefully. These are $40 apiece and are not sold in a set; let us know which version you want when placing your order.
Animal - a miniature piece of polished amber with a trapped insect.
Mineral - several pieces of rough iron pyrite, also known as fool's gold.
Vegetable - a mixture of 100% organic seeds which can be sown in a pot inside or outdoors. All grow edible plants and may include leek, carrot, radish, lettuce, chard, arugula, broccoli raab, bachelor buttons, borage, calendula, marigold, and nasturtium.
