This ring is a reproduction of a cocktail pick from the historic Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York City. They were originally used to skewer martini olives at the hotel's bar in the 1930s-50s. Wear this ring as a memento mori of NYC's glamorous days past, in which bartending was a craft, and women donned sequins and gloves to go have a drink. Each of these rings is hand-cast in brass and roughly polished, leaving it with a satin finish that mimics the original pick's aluminum matte sheen. A 2mm white sapphire set into one of the towers.
