Art Deco Saphiret Bracelet

Saphiret is an early glass used in jewelry which was made by adding real gold to sapphire-colored molten glass. The base color ranges from a mocha or pinkish brown to a brick red color, when light strikes the stone the glass reflects the light as a soft blue glow similar to a labradorite's schiller. This 1930s bracelet features emerald cut saphirets mounted in base metal.
