Gold FillGibson Girl Hairpin 3
From the 1890s until World War I, the glamorous Gibson Girl set the standard for beauty, fashion, and manners. Her hair was BIG and she needed a big-a$$ hairpin to keep it tight (yet poofy). This hairpin is from that era. It has a long chain to connect it to your hat or hair accessory so it doesn't fall out and get lost. Still does the job! French. Nice Art Nouveau linear detail on the top and twisted arms.
