This wide diamond-studded band has Egyptian hallmarks for 22k karat with an ibis (the national symbol for gold articles) and date letter U (1919-1920). Apparently Egypt adopted the date letter system in 1916 which is similar to the English model. The font is fantastic and the rose cuts are gorgeously varied in shape and color.
