Edwardian Enamel & Diamond Pansy Necklace


The pansy was a flower with symbolic meaning in the 19th and early 20th centuries. A play on the French word "pensée", it meant "think of me". This one was made in gold with enameled petals shaded in blues.

    14k gold (tests), enamel, 1mm single cut diamond, new 14k gold chain

    c. 1910

  • Condition

    Very good - we've converted this piece from a stickpin into a pendant; looks like the dark blue enamel has been touched up

  • Size

    1/2" x 1/4" charm, 18" chain
