Edwardian Platinum, Onyx & Diamond Brooch

This Edwardian brooch was made by Dreicer & Co., a revered NYC jewelry company located on 5th Avenue. They competed with Cartier and Tiffany until Cartier bought them out in 1921. Here, .55ct worth of diamonds are set in platinum alongside a cushion shaped onyx cabochon and two trillions. It comes with an appraisal for a retail replacement value of $7500(!)
