Edwardian Seed Pearl Swallow Necklace

$1,375

Sold!

Made near the turn of the 20th century, this gold swallow is rendered in mid-flight with seed pearls adorning its wings and body. According to lore, swallows were a welcome sight to voyage-weary sailors who believed the little birds prevented ships from getting lost and led them into safe harbor. When you wear a swallow - either as a tattoo or on a necklace - you're headed home.
