These domed teardrops are lightweight but oversized. Their brass surfaces were probably glamorously shiny once, but they've been allowed to oxidize naturally over the years. Tiny blemishes, dull spots, and other irregularities should be considered part of your earrings' unique character. Since they're 1960's-era vintage, we can't be sure what type of metal the posts are, but our hunch is that they're stainless or surgical steel. They have been carefully cleaned and new 14K gold-plated backs have been added.
