This purple paste studded petite Georgian mourning pin has a ring of 22 tiny seed pearls - at least 2 of which seem to be replacements. The piece was worn and loved - the hair is still pristinely braided under the glass, but the amethyst paste stones are rubbed from repeated touching. On the reverse there's no inscription. It can be worn as a pin or as a pendant - there's a loop at the top.
