A gold-cased Georgian seal depicting an anchor leaning against a boulder with a tiny swallow perched on its stock. In heraldry, the anchor is a symbol of hope, and the swallow, known as a martlet (and rendered sans feet which stems from the old (false) belief that they never landed on the ground), a symbol of vigilance and courage.
