A Georgian swivel seal ring modeled in gold with open wire shoulders and a carnelian slab engraved with the name “Mary.” This piece would have been impressed in hot wax to form a seal on correspondence way back in the days before postage stamps and self-adhesive envelopes.
10k gold (tests), carnelian
Very good - shank looks like it was repaired or reinforced at some point
8.75, can be resized; 1/2" head, 1/8" shank
