Georgian Crowned Heart Locket Pendant & Brooch

42 gorgeous garnets were cut to fit perfectly into this crowned heart configuration. The symbolism is obvious: loyalty, everlasting devotion. The recipient would rule your heart forever. This was how a heart was represented in the year 1800; the cleft at the top didn't come into popular use until a bit later. Exceptional craftsmanship.
