Georgian John Martin Mourning Ring
A black enameled Georgian mourning band made and worn in memory of John Martin. The text along the hoops reads: John Martin Died 26 Nov: 1811 Aged 13. The interior features three British hallmarks - King George III, the lion passant and the London date letter R for the year 1812.
