Georgian Pearl Locket with Victorian “Mother” Dedication

$3,500

Sold!

THIS PEARL LOCKET, crafted around 1800 in typical Regency style, features natural split pearls and a rock crystal lens. About a century later, a Victorian/Edwardian jeweler modified this family heirloom by carving the word "Mother," in reverse into the rock crystal. We believe the engraving was done in Mother's own handwriting.
