Georgian “Pensée à Vous” Wax Seal Necklace
This Georgian wax seal fob features a red tassie intaglio of a pansy beneath the French words “à vous” meaning “thinking of you”. A sweet message that was meant to be pressed into hot wax to create a decorative seal for correspondence in the days before gummed envelopes.
