Georgian Rose Cut Diamond “Regard” Ring

This wonderful Georgian ring features a rose cut diamond in a squared setting. The hoop of the ring features interstitial blue enamel panels that spell out the word "Regard". In the early 19th century, when this piece was made, giving your sweetheart a piece of regard jewelry was the equivalent of saying "I'm absolutely crazy about you". A very special and unusual piece.
