Georgian Seed Pearl Friendship Locket


THESE EARLY 19TH century pearl lockets are always in demand, but this one's all about the engraving: "The Gift of an Invaluable Friend". I almost kept it to celebrate the memory of my departed dog Bunny. I've been saving a twist of his fur for years, searching for the right vessel.

    10k gold (tests), seed pearls, glass lenses, new 14k gold chain

    c. 1800

  • Condition

    Very good - minor surface wear commensurate with age and use; some pearls have discolored with age

  • Size

    1" length including the bale, 3/4" diameter, 18" chain
