Georgian Three Stone Chrysoberyl Ring

$2,000

Sold!

Just a hint of lime, minty fresh: this three-stone ring from the Georgian era is set with three glowing cushion-cut chrysoberyls. Their yellow-green hue was popular in the early 1800s, and the brilliant stones were often mistaken for diamonds or topaz at the time. But Georgian jewelers appreciated chrysoberyl for its durability and fire; closed, foiled backs amplify the glow. Shame that it's rarely used today.
