Late 19th Century Emerald-Eyed Snake Ring

$3,800

Sold!

KNOW HOW we know this snake ring is French? Because she looks PISSED OFF. The French were as fond of snakes as the English in the late 19th century, but there was no humor allowed for les serpents. The hallmarks were lost in a previous resizing, but we can tell by the buttery 18k gold and the lifelike, high-quality craftsmanship that it was made in Belle Epoque France.
