Late 19th Century French Basketweave Locket Necklace


A charming French locket from the end of the 19th century. It houses glass lenses which can hold two photos, and the hexagon shape is unique. Lots of pattern and detail.

    14k gold (tests and marked), beveled glass lenses, new 14k gold chain

  • Age

    c. 1880

  • Condition

    Very good - this locket will need to be taken to a jeweler to remove the lenses/add photos or mementos

  • Size

    7/8" length including the bale, 1/2" width, 18" chain
