Late Georgian Pearl & Citrine Cluster Locket

$1,800

Sold!

This sunny little locket holds a citrine at its center, surrounded by a halo of (lucky!) thirteen creamy pearls arranged like petals around a flower. In the language of gemstones, citrine was associated with warmth, prosperity, and joy. Before large deposits of topaz became widely available, citrine was one of the few naturally occurring gemstones that could provide this rich honey-colored orange glow.
