Late Victorian Dog Tooth Necklace

$950

Sold!

Dating to about 1900, this sharp little pendant was likely a favorite dog's tooth capped in gold. It's definitely a canine tooth of some sort, and while it could be a hunting trophy, I'm getting beloved pet vibes. At the time, it was popular to use baby teeth in jewelry, so why not a pup's?
