Late Victorian Turquoise & Sapphire Twin Heart Ring

The two hearts are smooshed together like they're embracing. Cute, right? But what elevates this ring to the next level of weird & wonderful: the engraving on the back. It says "A.H. W.A. a swap". Huh?
