Mid 19th Century French Multi Compartment Book Locket

Sometimes the type of photo inside a locket helps us figure out when it was made. The hair (and beard) trends provide assistance, too. This guy and his daughters are straight out of the mid-late 19th century, with clothes and jewelry typical of that period. A small snip of hair from one of the girls is mounted under a glass panel; this guy was proud of his family. Keep 'em together or mount your own pics inside.
