Mid 19th Century Garnet & Diamond Quatrefoil Earrings

A pair of Civil War era back-to-front garnet earrings with clover-shaped bezels on the rose cut diamonds. They're unmarked, but we believe they're French. The custom-built green velvet box has remained with the earrings for over 150 years, and together they'll stay.

    18k gold (tests), 8 1.5mm rose cut diamonds, 2 9mm x 7mm garnets, original box

    c. 1860

    Very good - some light firescale in places

  • Size

    3/4" length measured from the top of the ear wire, 1/2" width
