This was sold to me as having a real emerald in the head, but I haven't tested it. Tiny diamond chips are also set into the eyes. The wiggly body has serpentine cross-hatching at the top, and the brass body turns into a silver-colored spring and sharp pin. Weird, cool, and I don't know how to date it - 1900 to 1920, I'd say.
This product is final sale.
