Very OldHeart Amulet Locket

$395

The construction, metal and rustic shape of this elongated heart-shaped container makes me think it's quite old, mybe early 1800s or earlier. It could be even older. Found it in the USA. It's not sterling silver, more impure, more like "coin silver". Opens to reveal a recess that could have originally held a pill, memento, or some other small item, though it doesn't stay securely shut any longer. Hinged bail.

This product is final sale.
