Victorian 10k Gold Drift Seed Pendant
Sea beans - also known as "drift seeds" - are a hard seed, fruit, or nut adapted for long journeys over water. Falling into the ocean in the Caribbean or mainland Americas, these exotic travellers would occasionally wash up on European shores causing wonder and amazement, and ultimately they were associated with good luck. This one is carved with wavy lines in the front, making it very reassuring to touch. A hand-engraved gold scalloped cap sits on top.
