Victorian AmethystBracelet

$3,200

Sold!

This Victorian bracelet is composed of oval-cut amethysts in delicate shades of lavender. The stones’ light color is typical of 19th-century amethysts, many of which came from Siberia and Brazil. Unlike the deeply saturated purple amethysts more familiar today, pale lilac examples were especially prized in the Victorian period for their subtlety and refined glow. In candlelight, these gems would have shimmered softly, complementing the era’s romantic taste.
