Victorian Carved Horn Figa & Snake Necklace

$1,600

Sold!

A meticulously carved horn hand grapples with a coiling serpent poised to strike. The fist is a symbol of power and control, while the snake represents both danger and renewal. Together, they form a potent talisman of strength confronting threat. The hand is mounted in engraved gold, its sleeve richly chased with detail. Despite fine age-related cracks in the horn, the carving remains crisp and full of movement—frozen at the height of its symbolic struggle.
