Victorian Girandole Style Bog Oak Earrings

Bog oak is a fossilized wood that's been preserved in Irish peat bogs for hundreds or thousands of years. This unappealingly named but very attractive material was often used self-referentially during the 19th century to produce Irish-themed jewelry, harps and clovers being the most common motifs. These unusual bog oak earrings feature beautifully carved floral elements arranged in a girandole style.
