Victorian Grand Tour “Roma” Amphorae Earrings
Sold!

The amphora, an ancient vessel, was a favorite Neoclassical motif in the 19th century. Here, two are rendered in 18k gold with ROMA emblazoned across the top. They would have served as (expensive, showy, but oh-so-tasteful) proof you had spent time in Rome on the Grand Tour. Heavy and well-proportioned, they are the nicest pair we've ever had.
