Victorian Turquoise, Pearl & Diamond Sweetheart Ring


We know from the hallmarks inside that this very cute ring - with the teeniest diamond ever - was made in the English city of Chester. But one of the lovers wore it so much that the date letter is no longer legible. Inside, it's engraved "G.Q. & A.E.S" - I wonder which one was the owner?

    15k gold (marked), 4 3mm turquoise cabochons, 4 3mm split pearls, 1.5mm rose cut diamond

  • Age

    c. 1880

  • Condition

    Very good - minor surface wear commensurate with age and use; Chester city mark and karat mark but date letter is missing, engraved "G.Q. & A.E.S"

  • Size

    7.75, can be slightly resized; 9mm head, 2.6mm shank
